- Oliver is seen on one of the pages on Thomas and the Rumors, despite him not appearing in the episode.
- The reissue variant of the cover uses a screenshot from the seventh series episode, James and the Queen of Sodor.
- An audio cassette or CD was included with some copies of the book, featuring narrations by Alec Baldwin taken directly from the episode's audio.

- In Happy Ever After, the narration line "Percy was puzzled" is missing before Percy says, "What's a 'good-luck package'?".
